Selling into the Health Sector

The National Health has been subject to more radical change than any other area of the public sector.  Separated from local authorities in 1974, the current organisation looks like this.

There is a high degree of purchasing autonomy enjoyed by the health trusts, but historically hospitals have been more concerned with clinology than technology.  The NHS procurement review has looked at the IT and administration requirements of the Trusts and has made recommendations.

The course 'Effective selling into the Health Sector', examines the current structure of the NHS and the dependencies between the various authorities and Trusts.  It also considers the impact of the procurement review and the opportunities that will come out of it.

Mind Mapping is used as part of the course to create a Health Sector Sales Plan.
